There were hundreds or maybe thousands of people at the waterfront watching the live destruction of the iconic White Rock Beach Pier on December 20, 2018. This image was ONLY captured by Ric Wallace / Mr White Rock and lasted for about 1.2 seconds showing the ray of sunshine during the Storm Of the Century that took out the White Rock Pier. This is a piece of local history and people are amazed the force mother nature has. The photo below is a collage showing the timeline of the start of the storm and aftermath which happened in 3 hours and 4 minutes. Ric Wallace took over 1300 photos and videos during this storm.
