THANK YOU @goVanTVShow for coming to #WhiteRock Beach!

Within about 20 hours of the show airing, we picked up a new Greeting Card & Magnet retailer. Mentioning the show aired last night and having some printed out photos helped gain a customer who had turned us down last year.

Being a photographer and having done some video work, what Go Vancouver TV created, air time and having access to the a YouTube video is very valuable and like Christmas in July at White Rock Beach, BC.

WhiteRockZone.com is BACK and have gone #ORANGE

The Lottery Squirrels of #WhiteRock Beach (owners of WhiteRockZone.com) were LOST IN CYBERSPACE. We had developed many problems with our hosting provider starting December 10, 2013. They said the Lottery Squirrels of #WhiteRock Beach were hogging all the resources, and they suspended all of our sites. They suggested we purchase their VPS hosting package at about 10 times the cost we were paying, plus our own DNS servers, etc.

We signed up for their premium service and they moved our sites over in lockdown mode and were blocking anyone but us from seeing the site. Days were lost and I spent 19 hours one day sitting in my chair trying to get the new service to work. I lost 3+ pounds by simply not moving out of my chair and not eating. I sent dozens and dozens of emails and screen captures explaining the problems. At one point they just stopped responding. It was only after a few days of being offline and asking for a REFUND that I got a response.

Our sites have in the 90,000 range of files and it is a lengthy process. Some of the other sites were transferred while I went to bed about 1:00 am. Long story short, we have gone ORANGE and have a better hosting company to deal with.

This card has the famous White Rock, The White Rock Beach pier, Mount Baker in WA, the Seattle skyline, the Space Needle, Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, West Vancouver, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Bellevue Washington, Crescent Beach, and Boundary Bay. All the photos in the postcard were taken within a 2 hour – 200 km / 125 mile radius of White Rock Beach, BC. Ric Wallace really likes to take COOL photos.

If you are a business in White Rock /South Surrey, let us know and we will drop off a FREE card in person. Ric Wallace is planning on walking to just about every business in White Rock / South Surrey and deliver them in person — he has even bought a new pair of shoes for the task! He has put on over 3,000 km on his favorite shoes and dropped 68 pounds, in turn losing over 12 inches off his waist. The goal is to to drop another 12 pounds for a total of 80 pounds from this time last year.
